It has all but 3 in trunk. Very good material I beleive.

I don't know how quick these layer, but I'd consider it.

I think you can find ONE good trunkline for that base, and have a few extra trees that arent bad on their own!

Lotta options this one!

Take your time and do it....Justis.

Ever branch has a lot of girth on it. He has another I’m waiting to get shipped that has a little fatter trunk it’s a more up right tree. But I like this one a little more so snagged her up.

The pictures do not do it justice I’ll pull it out of the snow an get some better ones. This spring the small branches should elongate a little An give me some nice pads to wire up. I’m going to take my time An do it righteous

What considerations were made around jinning what was jinned and styling in this direction?
Is this ultimately going to be a semi-cascade?

Yes semi cascade. The branches we jinxed were all coming from same area an didn’t have much movement an we’re think so really tuff to make bends. We will evenly Jin one of the lower bigger branches once the tree is growing strong again. Maybe next year. The tree actually never slowed down it handled the work like a champ. Pictures don’t do it justice an it really needs a nice pot.

I understand this phase in the design process, where you have the vision, but it’s not quite visible yet. Brent grows some great stock, and you worked with a talented teacher, so it will be fun to watch this progress over time.
