The electrician at work tossed this large wooden wire spool in the dump.
Pretty cool, so I grabbed it out without any immediate intentions for it.

So... since I didn’t have one, I made a big spinner from it.
I took the center pillar off/out, then purchased a large lazy Susan bearing.
It’s about 22” diameter.
works great!
Spring well.......well enough.
Man! It’s Sooo loud!
love it.

Nice! Good way to make use of the spool. I want to get some huge ones, like for 1000ft 500kcmil or something, and use them in the garden.

Yeah that would slick. I remember Those being great fun to play on as kids.
