This is a native blueberry I collected in the spring of 2006. ( first two bareroot pics)

The last pictures are from today.

It has an interesting tripple trunk and the nebari's not bad but I have yet to see how the branching and canopy should go.

Just postin' more trees.

Jay

Both front and back look good, I like the view in pic four personally, the triple trunk makes for a nice semi slant tree.

Thanks Will,
I'm with you on the one front being better than the other....Then I turn the tree around and change my mind. Then I turn it again and once again adjust my thinking. I think that in the long run, if I can grow a decent canopy, this tree will have at least a couple of good fronts.

update

A year and a half later..... Not much change. I'm starting to get some branching and it's starting to bloom already this year.

I do like the nebari.

cubbie,
Thanks!
Blueberrys are native to a good portion of the USA....At least the eastern part.

They like wet acid conditions (edges of swamps).

I let a couple of berrys ripen last year for fun but I cut most of the clusters off right after flowering. I'm trying to grow limbs and twigs at present.
