Was inspiried by @Gabler and said what the heck, let me give it a try.

I’ll be 59 by the end of this contest and will have an awesome beech, that I grew from a seedling.

It was grown in a pot for 1 year, and now I planted it in the ground



Will update as soon as it starts leafing out

It looks like it did not do much.

In spring I’m planning to uproot all ground growing treees work the roots a bit and plant them back.

I’ll update wit a pic

Yes good, dig it up every two years if ground growing otherwise the roots get so thick you will have to prune everything off to fit it in a pot !
