Nice work. I’m a little concerned about the polished pebbles in the substrate though.
I Believe it makes for a less stable environment.
I used pea gravel with some of my first plants and had issues. IDK.
Looks pretty though.

Yea thanks , the pebble are asthetic only . They are tied so won't fall over .
 
My next is a lavender .

Some people will probably come along and tell you to plant these in the ground to grow them out, but honestly if these make you happy then keep doing you. We need more people in the hobby and less newcomers that get chased away.

That being said, the first tree looks like a Red Maple, a notoriously difficult tree to make into a bonsai. Still could be fun to play around with though.

Thanks mate, the first one is a Sycamore . Had it in the ground for oner a year also all my plants I find/buy I do what's needed for them to really have life . I love this stuff so good for the spirit.

No, that's definitely a Red Maple. You can tell by the petioles.
