Hi everyone

I am new to this forum and its my first experience as a bonsai owner. When i bought these two trees they were full of green healthy leaves but now one of them has totally gone black and the other one is losing a lot of leaves..

Immediate support and advise is requested.

Thank you

Are these Fukien tea? Growing inside? Very difficult to do. If your climate is going to be above 50f outside, you’d be wise to get them outside. Otherwise, it’s mostly a matter of time until they’re dead. If you can grow trees outside, try again with a Chinese Elm. If you’re relegated to growing inside, try a ficus green island or retusa. They’re forgiving.

How long have you had these plants? Are they getting any sunlight at all?
Also it does look sort of like a Fukien tea, can you confirm?

I have a F Tea that is growing inside but it is in a southern facing window.
It also has a ton of artificial grow lighting on it. Growing lots of leaves and starting to put out blooms.

yes, these are Fukien tea and kept indoor. I live in the UAE, so temperature is usually between 22-26 degree celsius indoor. I was also told that its an indoor type..what do you recommend ?

it is a F tea and is right next to the window. Gets ample daylight not direct sunlight..

the "gone black" one is defunct. As already stated get it outside if able to or the other will be joining it in the great beyond.
the weather out is around 25-28 degree celsius..how often should i get it out and how often should i water it ?

I water mine every 2-3 days depending on how the soil feels. This is while it is in my plant room inside the house.
This summer it will spend some of the days outside. Those days it will get watered daily.

that is 82 degrees F right? Get it outside full time start out in shade then work up to more light to get it used to the direct sunlight. Its not a dog or something that needs to go out and then come back in, its a plant that needs sunlight to survive.

Im sorry but when i waa buying it they told me if i keep it near the window where there’s enough day light, it would suite it the best.. i had no idea it required sunlight and all..i have just moved it outdoors now..one last thing..i was also gifted another bonsai which i was told was an outdoor plant..can you please tell me if the leaves it has are the right ones and not wild..i have attached some photos..thanks a million!!
