Back in my "greenware--to post or not to post" thread, I added a link to my LPS (local pottery supply) and some of the clay they make and sell.

Wow some of those dark clays look awesome for a raw unglazed pot...

So, I bought some dark clay (called Oregon Brown), and made some simple pots.... here they are...

Nice Boon!!

I like the 1st ones, the 2nd reminds me of end tables, all they need is a piece of glass over the top.

What dimensions are these?

I love dark bodies ;)

Have a couple pots in the kiln made Cassius basaltic, at ^4 they almost black, at ^04 they are dark brown.

You've been busy my man; nice stuff!

Are you planning on glazing these or stain, etc.?

Thanks for sharing ;)

BTW, please check out my blog below; I have been busy too....:)

These pots are between 8X6 and 7X5 inches. They are fired to cone 6.

End tables? lol, well, they will probably be cactus pots, Lithops hopefully.
