I am a total bonsai novice and have been given a grove of young sequoia trees. It's 30 degrees plus here in summer down to 5 at night in winter. Any tips on placement, watering, spraying, feeding etc gratefully received. I have also read about Giant Sequoia Bonsai Plant food but it seems it's only shipped within USA - any ideas where I could get it in Spain or UK ?

Yes, I live on the coast in Southern Spain. Could sea air be a problem ?

Welcome to bnut!

I have managed to kill a couple of sequoias so not of much help there really so keep them alive and you will be doing better than I.
I couldn't find any specialit fertilizer either with a brief search but you can probably get away with a good univeral garden one.

In their native habitat, it can be hot and dry during the day, but most of the year, at night fog rolls in, and they absorb condensation through their needles. So mist them in the evening if your climate is arid day and night.
