Hey all, I wouldn’t say I’m new to bonsai, I’ve gotten More than my feet wet. Still learning obviously. I am speaking to a man about a tree. In the discussion I asked. “How long can the tree stay in the pot?” He said “Yes. They will need rooting and a nicer container is never a bad thing”.
what does rooting mean? I have asked he hasn’t said. So I thought I’d ask here. He also said the tree, “Rooted last year but they make a lot of roots quickly. Root next season”
the tree is from an air layer, but said he did that 10 years ago. Cause I initially thought that’s what he meant.
Any ideas?
