A few weeks ago the European bonsai Trophy in Genk Belgium took place. I took a few souvenirs. One of these is this Spanish J. Sabina. Long journey ahead. Repotting this year and then getting lots of growth and healthy so I can do a first styling in fall.

Back to health. It was unhealthier than expected and took all of 2020 to recover, not growing till 2021. But back to health, backbudding and gotten rid of an unsuitably placed big root.

Still not sure of the optimal styling. I guess I will just have to sit down and start putting wire on.

Beautiful tree! Looks like yours has a good dense foliage which is hard to find in sabinas (most of them have very loose foliage). I actually like its current natural "design".

Nice movement. Too small pot for upper tree mass☺️.

The tree disagrees with you, considering it is 110% healthy. Realize I live in a place with 181 rain days a year, and very few days of over 90F.
Matter of proportion/balance, not amount of soil;).
