Boxwood after a little haircut this morning...

My first boxwood.
Re-potted this spring, trimmed back a little more today.
So far so good I think.

It's very sweet. Not that you're asking, but I think you'd be good with a shallower pot, and sitting it lower in the pot as well. These boxwoods can really take a great deal of rootwork without batting an eye.
