Just wondering, most Yew trees that I have seen tend to naturally grow in a broom like style so why is that the one bonsai style that is not applicable for Yews when styling?

For me....
It's a matter of foliage that matches the style with a natural finished product with proper scale.
Yew foilage is rather limiting.
We know the hedge form of yew.

But the needles are so small. Do you mean the formation of foliage on branches without constantly needing to defoliate? It’s probably just my noob concept of what a bonsai broom actually is that’s misleading me.
