Well... In the desert this time of year I normally see brown tips on some of the older leaves on my elms.
What I'm wondering is what the black spots on the leave of this nursery stock elm may be.
I notice the black spots about 2 month after I repotted it and thought it might be due to me spraying the leaves daily due to the heat.
Seems to only be on the older leaves not the new growth.
Thought? Thanks!

Black spots likely fungal but since new growth is clean, you are all good.
I would not think fungus in hot and dry AZ could get a foothold....maybe only with extreme shade and too much water.
