This is BRT which has been trained since 6/15/2008. Sorry I don’t have the old pictures for comparison at this time .
It has been growing well in my hot and dry area. I have pruned it at least twice a year. It grows liked a weed here !

I did the 3rd pruning this morning. Before

I learned that the green young bark will be sloughed off and the adult bark has ivory color .
