Tomorrow will be one week since I made my trip to Brussel's, wish they were closer, but as I and others have said, I would $pend too much time there.
Spent Friday afternoon and most of Saturday talking (the small town I live in, NO one does Bonsai) and looking. Meet many nice people and it is really neat that everyone is All About Bonsai! I did find what I think is a nice Japanese Maple Arakawa, plan to re-pot and try to air-layer the top branches this summer. Took many pictures to look at next few months, here are a few (first one is my tree) hope you enjoy.

Candy store!!!!

I'll probably hate myself not having enough money if I go there...that or I'll run my card to the limit. Good that I am not there then. :D

Seems like lots more trees on the grounds than when I went there in December a couple of years ago (although I was still overwhelmed with the greenhouses full of trees). Going right before Rendezvous must be a great time to go.

Seems like lots more trees on the grounds than when I went there in December a couple of years ago (although I was still overwhelmed with the greenhouses full of trees). Going right before Rendezvous must be a great time to go.

The greenhouses are overflowing, they even have a few on the ground in the greenhouses. The pad outside with stock is full and seems to be expanding as well. I have noticed a lot of the better material outside was actually repriced lower this spring than the last couple of years. Not talking about 'on sale', I mean revised pricing. Although some of it seemed overpriced to me a couple of years ago and now seems a little more in line with what you might find other places, but its hard to touch their selection.
