what do you recommend for spider mites, and scale. last season i used natria (less toxic )spray for mites and bayer systemic for scale. both pests are all ready active here in nj. ive read neem oil but can i use that on shimpaku and chinese junipers? and michael hagedorn just posted about oils but doesnt say what type.
any other suggestions welcome.
thanks.

I go toxic...malathion or isotox...every 4-7 days a few weeks to break their short life cycle. Be sure to get the undersides of the tree, and mist often on other days. Spider mites like dry sunny weather.
