I noticed 2 of my BRTs were not doing well, yellowing and just not looking healthy in general when I lifted one of the humidity tray on noticed bunch of tiny white bugs (Aphids?) moving around, and yes I found them to be in the soil of course, my questions is, should I bare root re-pot or is there spray i can use fore the soil which will not harm the trees? Thank you!aphid.JPG

The first question should be: what are they?
Second question: can they do harm?

1. Springtails.
2. No.

But they are a sign of stuff decomposing, especially wood. This could point in a direction for troubleshooting; maybe you're watering too much or too often.

One of the signs of over watering is yellow foliage and declining health.

1+1+1=3.

Thanks for the reply, I don't water often, they are in boonmix with added pine bark for more moisture, so it drains fast into the trays on the bottom as all my trees are indoors all year around.
