Bugs!

I think or suggest we should add a Forum other than Miscellaneous/other and talk about Bugs, insects or health of trees in general because I don't know were to post this findings, for example the bugain that got caterpillars ( I have read that bugain were "bug free") but still I found mines with.

Another thing Disgusting I just found Tonight was Fly Larva! Take a look


After I saw them I gave all my bonsai a Malathion "bath".

How they appear well I simple put the plant in water for 1 day, that's it!
Isn't this WEIRD or what?
Btw they (larva) are all dead, they aren't good swimmers.

Jose, are you keeping these in humidity trays with standing water?

sorry for the delay.
The answer is no I put fresh water for 1 day only and at night I went to verify how the plant was handling the water and I saw dose dead maggots
I read from here http://www.worsleyschool.net/science/files/maggot/info.html that
When the maggots are full-grown, they crawl away to a dry, cool place near breeding material, and transform to the pupal stage.

So 2 things could happen probably there is a a rotting corp on my bonsai or... the maggots in time moved from a trash can near by to my bonsai if that the case I need to use malathion on all nearby pants.

What do you use for fertilizer, that may be the culprit.
