Nice! Would take me 4 days to dig a hole that deep around here :(

No digging required, these are prefabbed post holders made for 4x4's that you just hammer down into the ground. You can get them 24" long too.

We have caliche here....it is not conducive to digging or hammering.

I don't think guy wiring to the stand is a good idea... One little bump and you can lose the branch.

It's just temporary until I repot then I'll do it correctly. I'm just waiting for temps go a little higher and stabilize. There's another branch done in the same fashion on the back side so the tree is actually secured pretty well.

Warm weather does make me hit hard wood...... I have no same in saying I built 4 of these.
