David Kreutz, if I'm not mistaken, owns Satsuki Bonsai-en. He's been at many shows in this area. Always has extremely nice BIG imported azaleas. If you're after something more than a whip, however, be prepared for sticker shock...four figures and up for the better, bigger stuff.

Take a look at Nuccio's Nurseries Inc. in Altadena, California. They have an extensive selection of satsuki azaleas. It's an old nursery. They've been around since 1935. I believe that I remember that they have a Web site.

nuccio's is a great nursery. i've been there several times. hundreds of cultivars, but most will be available in 1-gal size containers. they do have larger sizes, but i've never inquiried on those myself.
