Can i search for users in specific location ?

Is there a way to search for users in specific location? I can see that option, is it possible ?

It would be great if there was a beginner primer of some good threads that explain basic bonsai practices. That way they could be directed to the content already. Even a list of threads or links to basic stuff would be nice.

Present sort of ways around this are to simply search a place by full name (ex: “Tennessee” or “O.G 615 Cashville Smashville dolla dolla), or do a google search (x) including “bonsainut”.

Doesnt look like it, no.
But good idea, would be sometimes useful.

You would maybe have to rely on the tags search but most dont put their location as a tag on a thread.

This can be a VERY big issue for bonsaists. The more specific the location, the easier it is for online thieves to make a visit IRL. Sad but true, theft is a big concern. I would be uncomfortable with the capability to search much beyond regional...

Oh near in mind this is init dependant upon the location people put up on here. So that is controlled and under the person’s management.

For our uses on this site, state, north of country etc are enough really.

I understand where you coming from, and i agree that could be an issue but at the same time i would like to have a quick look who is located in Ireland

Maybe by country or state, but I wouldn't be happy about exact location.
