This coming spring I want to start to bonsai a pitch pine. Only problem is I haven't found an area to go out and collect one. The possibly good news is there's a bunch of fully grown pitch pines in my neighborhood and a few of them have low branches that's not too far out of reach. I hear pitch pines behave similar to japanese black pines so is it possible to airlayer a pitch pine?
