Cape Cod Pitch Pine

Saw some really cool Pitch Pines cycling among the dunes on the Cape Cod shore today. What I failed to record in the photos were some of the taller trees with gracefully descending branches and foliage pads.

National Seashore on the outer Cape? My folks live a mile from the canal and maybe 150 yards from the beach... you're pics remind me of home.

Yes, this was on the bike path to Race Point Beach, near Provincetown. There are some really cool oaks out there, also. There's another path that goes through an old Beech forest.
