Carapace’s 2023-2026 little Christmas tree entry.

This is a Nordmann Fir (abies nordmanniana) which costed me about 20 dollars. First thing I will do is cut off the branches that would create inverse taper, surprisingly it barely has any and in early spring I will repot it into bonsai soil.
The trunk base flares out nicely (it's much nicer IRL than in the photo) and I imagine it gets even wider under the soil it's in.

This lil guy is only 80 cm (31 inches) tall but here he is all decorated and ready for Christmas (he's only gonna spend 3 nights inside and a window will be always open for him).
Only now have I noticed how blurry the picture is but hey, it works.
