I had to take out some carissa holly trees that were in the area of a new swimming pool today. They were on top of the septic tanks, so they have very shallow roots, and came right out. I know they arent the best, but these have cool nebari, and large trunks, around 4" - 5". Anyway, im not too concerned if they make it, so was wondering if anyone had these, and if chopping now would be the end of it, or should i put the time into them? There is about 4' of branching on it now, and there are 4-6 main branches. Any thoughts?
