Can anyone tell me what a black caterpillar with a yellow (almost gold) stripe down the back is?

Need I be concerned and if so what is the treatment?

Thanks, evmibo and Judy. I had googled before posting and could not find anything that seems to be the same. The eastern tent comes the closest. I will take photos tonight when I get home.

Could be the azalea caterpillar. But all caterpillars eat plants. Whether you should be concerned depends on where this caterpillar was found (and how many you found).

In Ohio we call them wooly bears, or wooly worms depending on where you are in Ohio, northern = wooly bears, southern wooly worms.
