Obtained this Cedrus atlantica ‘Silberspitz’ last year. Massive 50 gallon nursery stock mainly in clay soil,

Been waiting for about a year to do the repot and reveal the nebari. Now will wait for another 2-3 years before working on the design, will let it grow. Will track progress here.

How is this tree doing? that was a pretty radical repot from what I've read about cedar root reduction sensitivity.

It did really well, the buds opened up fully, and now it is actively putting a second flush. First 4 weeks it was under partial shade, then was moved slowly to full sun. The past month and a half it has been in full sun. A few of the third needles dropped early on but I believe it is the natural tendency to drop 3-4 year old needles on Cedrus.

Pushing buds, was the last tree to be repotted, April 1st. Decided on repot according to bud push rather than a specific date. Here is a picture of how the majority of the buds looked right before repotting:
