Who’s working with Cedrus brevafolia? I was watching @Eric Schrader recent video of a quick restyle of one of these plants and they’ve definitely piqued my interest. So who has some nice ones and where can you find good raw material?

I love the brevifolia, but I killed mine several years ago with too aggressive a repotting. They are suuuper slow growing so you'll want to find a larger one and those are hard to come by, around here at least, and I've been keeping my eye out for another one. I have two small pencil thick ones in a raised bed, but they won't be ready to work on for a decade.

I just got two C. brevifolia seedlings this spring from here. I slip potted them into 100% pumice, and they have put on some nice growth so far. I also just purchased some C. brevifolia seeds from here. I want to have several to practice on for several years until I am confident to purchase a more mature one, assuming I can find one since they are so rare.
