Chaparral Honeysuckle bunjin in bloom!

I collected this Lonicera interrupta on my property about three years ago and this is the first time it bloomed. Hopefully the blooms will set red berries. This California native normally grows as a long vine climbing the oak trees. It's rare to find one with a trunk like this. Usually they're pencil thickness.

That's super cool! love the spirally trunk. I'll bet it's rare to find a trunk like that. Here's another native lonicera from the mountains of B.C. A pic I have on my phone as I'm away from home right now. The middle tree, second year in a pot, I'd be Interested to hear any techniques for development you come up with. The flowers on mine are much smaller.
