So here it is.
Consult your local x-mas tree dealer for before pics. Or is it Holiday tree? Candles? Lol.

2 .5 depots, .5 was a Drive by, (looked already nothing new), and pillaging through the soil at one, with. CBS for 129.99 nice lady told me they had Colorado Blues on sale down the road.

They weren't very blue, maybe something else, and the wifey said no, but for 40 bucks they had beefy trunks and wild branching. Maybe next time!

Anyway. I must have dug through 100 of these 19.99ers.
And bought another for the actually festivities. 29.99. That post after NY.

I found this ONE, with one trunk for a while, not too much down low causing unfixable reverse taper, and it has a nice little flare at the bottom too.

The bit of RT this one has I hope to fix with Shari. I didn't want to bend the top section so much, but it wound up with too much negative space up there, I had to, as I am still impatient.

And I don't care anyway, just a little wiring practice!

Feel free!

Sorce. Blue spruce can be anywhere from green to blue to an almost silver. They change colors. The blue is actually a sunscreen they put out to keep their needles from scorching. The color change doesn't happen overnight though. A year or more.
Have to ask this. Sorry in advance. You're not trying to grow that inside are you? Ha!

Yeah, I could see that coming out alright over time. I've been wanting to find and play with a similar Alberta spruce for a while. Maybe you'll get a bud and can lose the curves.

Someone in my town just had their 20 yr old landscape C.B. cut down and stolen, presumably Xmas tree hunters!

I like how you handled the top on this one. Curt and Rod said it looks natural.

M.Frary.
Good to know. I got this in an unheated enclosed stairwell. I may put it out out. Cause I read they like air air.

BVF thank you, I don't think you are being sarcastic!

Wireme.
That happened to someone I know about 20 years ago!

Smoke. I think you are being sarcastic, I just can't figure out how much!
And Damn, somehow I deleted the line......
Maybe Smoke can identify the species for us!?....

Thanks

Not at all. Christmas tree crawls are always a let down, so I think you got lucky with this one. They're also notoriously difficult to keep alive after a big reduction like this. If it does well next year, I can see a powerful tree in this silhouette.
