Well done! Never seen the bonus screw used before.

I did that to a ponderosa branch last fall that would not stay down even after fifteen years of wiring. It’s a bit tricky to judge how much wood to remove to get the angle change you want. I liked how he adjusted it further down after the initial cut. My concern was with how many times he bent and released it. But it’s probably tropical so it will grow like a weed and never notice.

That looks pretty drastic, but it's in the tropics! I am always amazing what you see people can do with trees from these climates.

Well damn you’d think he’s done that a few times before. I’d bet that branch made it for sure too. There’s no way I could do the same thing, makes you almost want to quit doesn’t it

I saw Ryan N. in Oregon do that on one of his videos. My questions are always, can we see the branch a year later and does the branch really line up well enough or is there a ridge all the way around where the obviously different circumferences meet?
