Chinese Elm - Before and After

Here's a few pics of a Chinese Elm I bought 3yrs ago, first pic is at purchase and the other two at present. I've always had Chinese Elms in my collection since my beginnings.

Neat little trees, and perfect for bonsai. They just hate my wet, east coast springs. Yours seems happy down there

Great trunk on that one! I love the sweeping movement left. Also, I noticed the first branch and sub-trunk emanating from the same place, which I usually avoid in my (inferior) designs. Here, it works.
