Hello-

I am wondering if this Chinese Elm is just losing its leaves because it is fall here in Chicago and has been a bit chilly recently, though the tree has been indoors. Or, is there something seriously wrong with it? The yellowing started a few days ago, maybe a week. The tree has always looked very healthy. I've had the tree for for 8-9 months so this is my first autumn with it, also I've only had evergreens before. I'm hoping its just the changing light/season though I would love any help or advice! Thanks!

Andrew

I let mine get cold, loose all leaves, and go dormant over the last winter. It grew like mad this season and is still outside until it drops all leaves again. That's what a member suggested here and that's what I did, even though I wanted to keep it green all winter. That's what the tree wants, I think
