Preferably not cork bark

Ill never for the life or me understand why they have to shape the damn things like that.....
Anyone know of someone that has them that dont look like a letter?

I don't have any right now but do make a market in "non-S" Chinese elms. They sell very quickly when I post them. If you like, send me a PM with your email address and I'll put you on my wish list.

I also questioned myself the same thing many times. It gets a bit boring to see all almost the same shape.
I decided to make cutting and try to design myself. It is quite easy to make it. Cut semi hard wood shoot. i took 1mm to 2mm thick shoots and around 7cm and put them in glass of water.
It took about 2 weeks to sproute.
In this way you are few years behind in conparison to those from shop but you can make your style.

I rooted 5 mm thick shoots from a corkbark one, in February. When young, the corkbark takes a couple of years to show, and it works the same for plain Chinese elms.
