I have two citrus aurantiums that are 4 years from seedlings. Always treated exactly the same, never more than a foot apart.

#1 collapsed over 2 days. All leaves crispy.
#2 happy as always.

Conditions: Atlanta Georgia, very hot location, 90 degrees up to nearly 100, in direct sunlight. Watered automatically thoroughly 9am, again 2pm. Loose, fast draining soil. Fungicides every 10-15 days. Only a tiny amount of organic fertilzer every few weeks in this heat.

Yesterday I drenched the soil of both with Subdue to combat root rot, but that's all I have done differently. I'm baffled.

All suggestions/guesses/prayers appreciated. The little thing is of no significant value. But killing trees is not what we do.

Thanks in advance,
Rick Dawsey
