So much growth. Do I let them grow to establish the roots below or should prune off some to direct the growth?
I am thinking about the very low ones. I will never use them. Knowing Mayhaw, it will try to bush out with them.

Carved and potted into a mica training pot today. Wiring will be done early summer. With a 5” base, this will be a good specimen some day.
PS: Don’t quite know what to do with the eye poker root but the front is pretty much decided by the carving in the back.
