In the next two days I will have to prepare this tree to be given away to my lifelong friend who just lost his wife of 40 years. Perhaps working on the tree will give him some solace for he is “walking in the fog” as he described to me how he feels.

Hmmm....
I have changed my mind. The twin trunk is too much of a reminder. It will have to wait until later. I need to find another tree.
