To clear my land for the crane to come and demolish the house, I have to dig up a lot of land scape plants.

These are gardenias with large leaves and flowers. They were never meant to be bonsai. It’s late in the year I can’t hack them all the way. Early summer next year I will deal with them.

At least you can get something resembling a camellia bonsai, which are beautiful in their own right.
Yeah. I have one contorted camellia given to me as a cutting by @Mellow Mullet. That is one my my prized tree in development. One I intend to keep for a long time.
