Collected last year and allowed to recover in a Home Depot cement tub. Decided to move it to a flat this morning. Started at 4 am. Done at 5:30 am :)
Will do branch selection and carving later. I cut away a stub and can see I need to cut another one.

One lesson learned: When collecting a tree, leaving roots long just means I'll have to prune the root again and repeat the root development later. That translates to loss time. Moving this tree from a 20"x30" to a 8"x12" flat was just another trauma to the tree. I should have done all that last year when I collect this thing. In recent collections I've been cutting the roots really close to the trunk. That works out better.
