Siberian elm Seedlings mark down 25% to $1.50 per tree
Will discuss further discount when more than 20 are bought at one time✌️
Straight whips or topoed down to 10 inches and already branching.
all have been fed motherplant fertilizer and a notch in the bark will root in seven days for raft styles and very strong dutch Hydroponic fertilizing with amino acids ,increased Calcium and Everything.

Hey @cmeg1 - I just got some kelp and humic acid from NPK industries. Should I be using the concentrations as directed on the package for my JBP clumps? They are in medium pumice and DE.

1/8 tsp humic—-1/16 tsp kelp……..the 5:2 ratio

if the kelp gets on leaves, or npk, make sure to rinse off as kelp will burn leaves.

every watering for media
Use fulvic acid( full up) and kelp for foliar feeding…NO MORE THAN ONCE A WEEK AND WITH NO NPK OR WILL BURN LEAVES AS ALL THE CYTOKENESIS PRODUCES HEAT IN LEAVES FROM THE KELP.

Makes very nice back budding very early too on many tree species.

SPRING 2022 ZELKOVA BROOM STARTERS & JBP SEEDLING CUTTINGS———-Large size!!!
***ALL INDOOR GROWN CO2 FERTILIZED DUTCH HYDRO STRONG***

—— I already mentioned elsewhere, but anyways finalized…will be 5-6 mnth old Zelkova Broom starters (nice mature sized starters). These will be air-layered for awesome roots.

—— And larger JBP seedling cuttings 5-6 mnths old.I will actually try to slow growth with these since so much time till’ then, they will be super energized by all this energy store for Spring growth and will have VERY strong roots being air-pruned in the mini-blocks……maybe some of the nicest yet and they will also be put outside a few weeks before sale and they will explode into bigtime growth.

*will do two crops of each and have plenty to go around throughout the 2022 grow*

*these will be grown in 2” Grodan Stonewool mini-blocks*

Pm me for a notification to you in spring.

Thanks everyone for your support through the past few years!

Curtis, can you clarify? On the first you said no kelp on the leaves, but then you said to use if as foliar feed? I am using both at the 5:2 ratio but have not use it as foliar feed.

Threw a little wire on one of your clumps. Will probably go in and remove some needles down low (not all) to get some air and light in there.

Kelp no more than once a week on leaves as all the cytokinesis will create heat and burn foliage
All the time in the media though.
Use 1/8tsp humic or fulvic acid: 1/16 tsp kelp per gallon of water or nitrient solution.
This is the 5:2 ratio

I have to ask, do the cubes break down over time?

Here's a Zelkova I bought back then. It's growing like crazy and I needed to remove 50% of the leaves in order to get down to the major architecture...

Next June I will defoliate to reduce foliage size and lower it in the pot. I expect it will be a credible shohin by spring 2023.
How is this doing in its leaflesness?

JUST A FEW MORE WEEKS!!!

JBP SEEDLING CUTTINGS!!! Co2 fertilization…bigtime healthy.

These are in 2” stonewool blocks this year and I really want them to be a block full of roots.
I just brought the first wave outside today!
One afternoon in full sun and they already have turned a nicer ,darker green. It does not take long. These will start growing quite rapidly and bulk up a bit for sale.
Like 2-3 weeks will do these masive justice. It is absolutely amazing what the outdoors does for these co2 fertilized starters….they jump into growth quite phoenominally.

Very good starters!
Only 3 mnths old…….gotta love co2 fertilized starters……big time jump on the grow season.

Another 150 in the tents yet and will bring them out when they catch up and will have another 300 or so later on this season.

HOPEFULLY A CROP OF ZELKOVA BROOM STARTERS FOR NOVEMBER SALE!!!

These are quite tall and have about 5” almost of trunk. In 5 mnths these should be sale ready and be quite bushy.
Starting the first shoots very slowly and under extra blue spectrum lighting for compact first nodes and backbudding to get the bushiest possible start……that way many branches mean instant Broom starter.

I will feed these a motherplant propogation formula for the entire 5 mnth cycle to fascilitate a very easy ringbark approach for those who would like to air/ground-layer for better roots……this can be at ground or just below for a clump………These will fully root in 2 weeks for sure from a girdle or ringbark air/layer method………I just do not have the time to do this to 300 or more of these.
I will sell these quite cheaply……..

I will aim for all Broom style.

Just look at the picture and imagine a proper 5” or longer trunk…..instead of 2” like this first attempt last winter…(first before last picture).
**** also recommended to not use rooting gel on the zelkova ring barks or you’ll end up with the ugly hormone lumps that I did on the little test example in the picture****

JAPANESE BLACK PINE SEEDLING CUTTINGS FOR SALE ON JUNE 20 th!!!

I just needed these to grow a bit in the sun before sale.
Thanks everyone for the patience……..they are much fuller and happier now……and by the 20th,should be rooting and filling the bigger 2” mini blocks nicely.
The pine needles have a very nice rigidity to them and extremely tough look and feel……
I have not been feeding really heavily…Good settling in the sun for sure just in time for summer growing!
Great color and health to these……the buds should pop with the whole season ahead.
