New to me this year.
I've got a couple of European hornbeam but this is my first koerean. (turkzaninowii I think).
I love the slender habit of korean hornbeams. It makes for some lovely elegant trees.
Looking at mine now the leaves have fallen, I like the trunk line, but there's a definite reverse taper issue up top going on.
I'm also aware they like to drop low branches.
Do i treat this like a European hornbeam? If so I'd potentially be looking at removing that inverse taper in spring.
Although, it could be hidden, so I could probably attempt to balance the growth down low first instead.
Any thoughts?
