Compact pine with fantastic bark. I purchased this 3-4 years ago with the intention of one day grafting it with JBP, and never got around to it. It sat for a year or two out of the mountains, and i repotted it 2 years ago. In other words, the tree is doing well and is ready to be worked on. Unfortunately, its becoming pretty clear that i dont have any time left over for working on trees or caring for a collection beyond a handful of trees. Young family, new career, and a side hustle business are just about all i can handle at the moment. I am asking $300 plus shipping. Im an accomplished woodworker, and this will come to you in a 1/2" thick plywood box. If you are interested in the tree, i can mock up the size of the box it would need to go in and run an estimate based on your location. I am in Pittsburgh, PA if you are into road trips.

Photos are of the tree rotated 90° counter clockwise. Let me know if you have specific requests for different angles.

Hmm, yes. I’m thinking it is nice enough without grafted foliage to grace my benches. I might be able to pick it up and save shipping.

Is this one a “popper?” Where it grew in a narrow crack in the rock?
