Collected Sweetgum with a little scarring

I like the scarring on this tree, so I collected it June 3rd. Got a little shallow with the sawsall and accidentally cut off all but a few fine roots.

That's quite the nursery!

I transplanted an ash the other day with way more roots....and it's Probly gonna die....

That looks like stored energy....

Yes......you did get a little carried away with the root cutting. I hope it has enough stored energy within to begin survival mode and make roots. A nice piece of material...I hope it does survive and grow stronger.
