Since the Midwest bonsai society and the Chicago bonsai clubs have decided to cancel the Chicagoland shows and the rest of this years meetings and events for no reason but to comply with covid-19 restrictions and mitigation, I along with a friend of mine is considering starting a local club, that will actually have meetings and events, and possibly a late fall show. I am not concerned about this alleged virus, it is NOTHING TO BE CONCERNED WITH, the government, both federal and state as well as local have turned it into ANOTHER POLITICAL SCAM.

I have a couple places who would allow me to hold meetings, and I also have my back yard I am willing to use if push comes to shove. There will not be any social distancing or wearing of face coverings required, SOCIAL DISTANCING AND WEARING OF FACE COVERINGS IS NOT ONLY UNCOMFORTABLE BUT IS VERY RUDE, AND IS FOR NO LEGIMATE REASON AT ALL.

I am hoping to have something set up by the end of August in the Chicago metro north area.

I'm astounded by the degree of anti-science sentiment express in the country. People who have no direct knowledge about virology or epidemiology seem quite willing to ignore the experts in those fields, and believe any crack-pot conspiracy theory proposed on social media.

My daughter is a doc seeing COVID kids. Yes, they exist and many are severely compromised by the virus. Not as many as older adults, but many nonetheless. Fauci has spent a lifetime learning about viral pandemics and serving this country. I know you probably don't want to read the primary scientific studies about this, so you have to trust someone to convey that information to the public. Y'all are picking the wrong people to trust.

I (besides the censorship part ) agree... I live in a real small area... so the local covid deaths are all people I knew at least a little bit (mostly)... evenly split between healthy/unhealthy, old/young.

No matter what the personal belief is... people ARE dying.. not just the compromised...
