This is the first time it gives the flowers since it arrived to my garden 3 years ago. At that time, it was in a very bad condition with gradual die back! It continued losing one limb to another limbs, one by one. Up to the point it had no more branches and just a short trunk! I asked the previous owner gave it to me, so I could resuscitate it; otherwise it would completely die! Three years passed by, it is in very healthy stage! I am very glad and the previous owner was also surprised !

Today I recognized that its flower buds have pink color at the distal halves. It is completely different with regular ume ! It is so interesting!

Congratulations on the resurrection of what is to be an amazing tree. It has so much potential and can’t wait to see your outcome and flowers.

By they way what soil mix you using? Anything special ?
I used pumice/mini orchid bark seedling/ground fir with 1:1:1. Then scattered charcoal into the mix.

p/s: because my area is really hot and dry in summer, it is why I use this kind of mixing.

Well I love this, I've not seen one with so many inner petals. I had a double at one time, but it never was this full. Tiny perfect roses. I'm happy that I wished for double!
