Cool thoughts for warm days

These are a couple of hardy pines (Ponderosa and Scots) that I leave out for the winter. This was after a good snow in January.

Great looking trees! Do you have any pictures without the snow? I'm a big fan of ponderosas and scots pines.

I will post some pics soon. It is raining now. I can get a decent back drop for the Scots pine but the ponderosa is a very large tree and I can't move it with out help. I pretty much leave it strapped to my deck rail year round. Occasionally I will turn it for a more even growth pattern.

There is an US? company that makes 300mm lazy susan bearings,all pressed steel and ballbearings.

Could be useful built into your deck for turning purposes?
