Coral Bark Maple Indoors?

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a Coral Bark Maple from a local garden center, I spoke to two different people working at the store, both of which tried to sell it to me as an indoor tree. I have never heard or read of any type of maple being suitable for indoor growth....Will this type of tree be able to thrive indoors year-round?

Maples need to be outside. It will eventually die inside. They need a winter dormancy period.
