Corticosa and Yatsubusa Elm

Are these two different species, or is Yatsubusa the Japanese name for the Corticosa Elm?

If I’m not mistaken, corticosa is Latin and refers to rough/abundant bark. Yatsabusa is a Japanese term which roughly translates to “multi-budded”. They could be two separate cultivars, but I have heard from several places that the Japanese are often less concerned with cultivars than we tend to be.

Leaves on yatsubus elm get an elongated llook to them and bud profusely from everywhere when cut back

And they're small. Just a tad larger than seiju.

Completely different cultivars. Bark is difference, leaves are completely different.
