Some large concrete retaining wall bricks and some 16 x 16 inch pavers make a pretty good display bench for a single tree. Bricks are 2.70 a piece and pavers are 3.98. Total for a 18 inch tall paver topped display is about 12.00 plus tax. Pretty cheap.

Neat idea, sturdy, no maintenance and non distracting.

What is the stunning four trunked tree with the tight foliage pads in the third picture? Even when I click on it I can not see it clearly enough, I was thinking a juniper but that bark looks like a deciduos type tree. Thats another beauty.

It is a five trunked clump of Japanese cryptomeria. Japanese cedar. (Sugi)

Due for a pot next year, still looking for the right size drum pot. I have a nanban that I can use but I think a drum pot will look better.
