Just wanted a little more advice on my crab from you fine folk.

So this was dug up out of the ground around a month ago. Repotted it and placed it in a good sized training pot and well draining soil. Feeding once a week and watering around twice.

It was covered in little buds around the time I purchase it, and now they are slowly starting to bloom, but there are still no leaves on her at all. Is this normal?

Finally, should I remove the flower buds once the flowers fade away (usually happens after a week or so) to help re-direct the tree's energy to other buds?

Not really a problem. Flowers often precede leaves...

Yep not a problem at all. My nagasaki leafs out most of the way before any buds start to show, on the other hand we have a ton of landscape crab's(do not know the cultivar) that are currently ALL white with flowers and no leaves.
